Simple and basic ingredients all from Aldi!
Soften the onions and garlic until they are all soft and fragrant.
Add in the passata. You can use chopped tomatoes if you prefer. But skip the premade sauce. We can do better than that.
Swirl in the cream. Use double cream (heavy cream) for extra richness or single cream (whipping) to keep it lighter.
Toss in the tortellini. No need to boil the pasta first. Just toss it in and it will cook in the sauce.
Bake it under a heavy blanket of shredded mozzarella cheese. And a sprinkle of black pepper.
