6 Simple ingredients all from Aldi is all you need for this sweet and tart lemon drizzle!

Whip the butter until it's very light and pale and fluffy!

Add the sugar into the butter and mix very well until it's very light and fluffy.

Add in the eggs. 

When the eggs are mixed into the butter the mix may start to split. Have no fear. It all works out.

Spoon the batter into the loaf tin and spread evenly. Bake until it's golden on top and baked all the way through. 

Poke the top of the loaf with a toothpick and pour the lemon soaking syrup over the cake and let sit until the syrup is absorbed.
