Aldi ingredients for the best easy lasagna with bechamel sauce. 

Start by browning the beef in some olive oil in a large skillet.

Add in the mushrooms. This is optional but they really help to enrich the flavour and to stretch the meat sauce further.

Reduce the wine until it's thick and rich. Add in the tomatoes and add the beef back to the pan.

Let the sauce simmer for up to 3 hours so the beef is very tender. 

We're skipping the ricotta and the cottage cheese and making a smooth and creamy bechamel sauce. 

Bechamel sauce is only 3 simple ingredients and only takes 10 minutes to make. It's an authentic sauce that will elevate your lasagna from average to amazing!

Layer up the lasagna starting with the beef sauce and the noodles. Use no-boil lasagna sheets for a really easy lasagna recipe.

Layer the bechamel sauce on top of the noodles then layer with the cheese. I've used some Gruyere which is not traditional, but has amazing melting qualities!
